Expansion of our machinery base

We ensure our high performance when it comes to quality by consistently optimising and expanding our machinery base. Our new addition in July 2015: the ZEISS ACCURA II CNC-coordinate measuring machine. The multisensor-capable machine ensures a maximised measuring range using a CALPYSO control and software.

CALYPSO enables measuring by hand and in a CNC operation. We therefore document test criteria, such as the curve gradient, curve stroke, curve length, curve shape, etc. - this is done efficiently and precisely because the machine configuration allows a traverse path of 1800 x 1200 x 1000 mm and a traverse speed of up to 800 mm/s.

May 2015 - Rolls Royce presents us with the NPI Award

Rolls-Royce Germany honours special partner companies for their excellent support of "New Product Introduction projects" - NPI projects in short. Martin Ott presented the award to our Managing Director Bernd Schätzle in May 2015 at a special ceremony at our company's headquarters in Hösbach-Rottenberg.

S+B TECHNOLOGIE Schätzle GmbH was acknowledged for its exemplary project management over the project phase that lasted for more than three years:

• The on-schedule design
• and manufacture of special production resources/tools
• within a set budget
• and with the necessary top quality.

We have been a long-term supplier of Rolls-Royce since 1995 and are delighted with this award.

May 2014 - 50 year anniversary of S+B

50 year anniversary of Schätzle - a true reason for us to celebrate.
As a 25-year old industrial clerk, our Senior Director Siegfried Schätzle risked founding SIEGFRIED SCHÄTZLE, PRÄZISIONSMESSZEUGE in Aschaffenburg on 2 January 1964 with just 253 German Marks and the energetic support of his wife Rosemarie. The Schätzle + Bergmann Präzisionswerkzeugbau partnership followed in 1965. Now we operate successfully on the market as S+B TECHNOLOGIE Schätzle GmbH and are proud of our workforce of 95 employees.

Companies like Rexroth in Lohr and MAN Roland in Offenbach were among our first customers. Whereas in the early days we carried out classic, small engineering activities, such as the refurbishment of tools, our expertise grew rapidly in the following years through large-scale projects with well-known companies in Germany.

Rolls Royce, Robert Bosch, Bosch-Rex­roth, ZF, Linde Material Handling, SAF, Karl Mayer, MAG and Conti are among our long-standing, satisfied customers in Germany.

Our production area was expanded and fully air-conditioned in four construction phases from 44 square metres to a proud 3,000 square metres today in production halls at two sites in Rottenberg.

Today we manufacture clamping devices and clamping systems, special and processing machinery as well as workpiece cleaning machines for the engineering, vehicle and aviation industries with an annual turnover of approx. € 10 million. We supply our machines all over Europe. Our customers worldwide also include small and large companies and global players in Brazil, Canada, India, Mexico and China.
